Suspension: Oshiomhole’s appeal suffers setback as court fails to call case

Suspended Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, and his lawyers on Monday were disappointed when the Appeal Court failed to call his case. The court had last week sent notices of hearing to parties in the appeal but, when parties got to court today, a panel of three justices led by Justice Stephen Adah sat to hear other cases. The panel however, rose promising that a new panel will be reconstituted to hear Oshiomhole’s appeal Parties were however, astonished when an announcement was made that the court had resolved to hear Oshiomhole’s appeal on a later date, rather than having a new panel.
