Senator Omo-Agege apologises over comment against Senate
The embattled Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege has apologised to the Senate over his comment against a reordered bill that was passed by the Senate last week.
The bill which followed a conference report of the Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the House of Representatives and Senate was adopted by the red chambers.
The lawmaker did not only oppose the sequence of election on the floor in the course of debate, but made comments that the bill was targeted at President Muhammadu Buhari.
He made the comment when 10 lawmakers (including himself) staged a walkout to address a press on the development, Wednesday last week.
