Reps probe invasion of National Assembly by thugs

The Nigerian House of Representatives is set to probe invasion of the Senate by thugs, resulting in the theft of maze of the lawmakers on Wednesday April 18.

Briefing his colleagues, Hon Abujlrazak Namdas, who represents Ada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo. State, Adamawa State, said the House would investigate the circumstances leading into the act.

According to him, the National Assembly had given Inspector-General of police, Ibrahim Idris 24 hours to produce the maze.

The police on Thursday said it found the maze under a bridge around the National Stadium, Abuja, where it was abandoned by the hoodlums.
