Yari, who doubles as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum also asserted that aside the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari to help them manage their states, key expenditures like salaries and capital projects would have been impossible to furnish.
The eloquent governor blamed this fate on the failure of the past administration, the Peoples Democratic Party – he said most incoming state governors inherited huge debts from unpaid salaries and arrears which could only be offset with the bailout funds and Paris Club refund disbursed by President Buhari.
