Another kidnapped Chibok girl found
The Nigerian Army yesterday said another Chibok schoolgirl had been rescued two days after the first girl, Amina Ali, was rescued in Borno State.
A statement from army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman Sani, confirmed the rescue yesterday night, but did not give any name.
In the short statement, Usman said: “Another Chibok school girl rescued. Details later.”
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday met with the first Chibok school girl to be freed from Boko Haram captivity and assured that the government would take over her education.
President Buhari said Amina’s rescue gave the government new hope and offered a unique opportunity for vital information in the rescue of the other girls.
