2019: My agenda for Nigeria, if elected president – Kingsley Moghalu

10 of the aspirants for Nigeria’s presidency in 2019 election have presented their manifestoes.
The aspirants addressed Nigerians on Tuesday May 8th in Abuja at an “Emerging Political and Economic Leaders’ Summit.”

The event was organized by former President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr Wale Ajani.
The aspirants are Mr Ahmed Buhari; Asuquo Mendel; Prof. Kingsley Moghalu; Princess Funmilayo Davies; Sen. Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.
Others are Alistar Soyode; Adamu Garba; Ayodele Favour; and Malam Yinusa Tanko.
Guest speaker at the summit and fiery speaker, Pastor Tunde Bakare, chronicled the woes that had befallen the nation since independence and called for a transformational president who would unite the nation and put it on the path of prosperity.
Bakare, who was represented by former Minister of Education and Convener of the Bring Back Our Girl group, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, said it was time the nation moved for its redemption by voting for good leaders at the 2019 polls.
In her own remark titled “Breaking the Economic and Political Status Quo,” Ezekwesili said the present status quo where crops of recycled leaders have been in government for half a century must be “disrupted.”
She also advised the aspirants to work together and form a consensus to “rescue” the nation from its current state.

Each of the contestants took turns to present their manifestoes to people of the country.

They also fielded questions from participants at the event.
